3D Artist
  • Currently responsible for managing the exterior architectural visualization of Plaza Las Vegas, a future $5 billion to $8 billion multi-use ultra-luxury hotel, private residences, retail and gaming complex to be developed on the Las Vegas Strip.
  • Collaborate on a daily basis with a diverse team of architectural designers and 3D artists in developing 3D graphic representations for architectural designs, ranging in scope from conceptual studies to photo-realistic animations.
  • Actively engaged in pursuing workflows that reinforce the dialogue between architects and 3D artists with a shared understanding of methods and goals.
Antenora Architects: Austin, TX (Fall 2006)
Architectural Intern
  • Performed onsite survey of Wheatsville Food Coop and drew schematic drawings for the renovation and addition to its facility in Austin, TX.
  • Drew construction documents for a new 10,000 Sq. Ft. retail facility.
Architexas: Austin, TX (Summers 2005, 2004)
Architectural Intern
  • Drew and assembled various construction documents for historical preservation projects throughout Texas, including the renovation of an early 20th century residence in Austin, TX.
  • Worked under the direct supervision of the project manager in reviewing submittals from engineers and researching material selections for projects.
  • Performed on-site survey of Hardeman County Courthouse, documenting all necessary information for the assembly of preliminary drawings.
Columbia University Computer Graphics and User Interfaces Lab: New York, NY (Spring 2003)
3D Artist
  • Built a three-dimensional model of St. John the Divine cathedral using Maya, helping to coordinate the efforts of the programmers to develop an ‘augmented reality’ system.
  • Surveyed St. John the Divine cathedral, located in NYC, through extensive research of drawings and photographs with the aim of creating an accurate digital reconstruction.

  • Participated in the restoration of Lee County Courthouse in Giddings, TX. Responsibilities included site visits, the production of construction documents, as well as the task of coordinating the efforts of collaborating engineers.

Seasteading Institute 2009 Design Competition (Spring 2009)
Lead Design
  • Collaborated with a team of 3D artists under the name Team3DA to develop a design for the Seasteading Institute 2009 Design competition, the submission of which earned the "Community Prize" award.

  • Designed a pool table composed of interchangeable industrial components.
'Audio Adventure' Video Game (Spring 2005)
Level Design
  • Worked with an interdisciplinary team of UT students in developing a video game geared towards the visually handicapped community.
3D Networking Interface (Spring 2004)
Interface Design
  • Collaborated with peers from UT in developing a 3D visual network interface. The intent of the project was to develop an information infrastructure that would facilitate the cross-pollination of ideas among people based on their use of language.

  • Awarded most innovative game design prize in the 2005 Inaugural Digital Gaming Competition sponsored by the UT Science, Technology, and Society Program.
